Dream Draft Connect – Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Dream Draft Connect, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. This is a community designed for writers to connect, share, and grow. We expect all members to act with professional integrity and respect.

2. Intellectual Property & Ownership (The Writer’s Protection)

Your Work is Yours: Dream Draft Connect claims zero ownership over the manuscripts, drafts, ideas, or excerpts you post within the community. You retain 100% of your copyright and intellectual property rights.

License to Display: By posting content on the News Feed or in Groups, you grant Dream Draft Connect a limited license to display that content to other members of the community as intended by the platform’s social features.

Confidentiality: While we provide private groups, Dream Draft Connect is a social network. We highly recommend only sharing excerpts or “work-in-progress” drafts you are comfortable showing to other members.

3. Community Conduct & “Social” Etiquette

To maintain a high-quality environment for all authors, you agree to:

Respect the Craft: No plagiarism. Posting work that is not your own is grounds for immediate account deactivation.

Constructive Feedback: Critique should be helpful and professional. Harassment, hate speech, or “trolling” of other writers will not be tolerated.

No Spam: Do not use the News Feed or Member Messages to “cold-sell” services outside of designated promotional areas.

4. Membership & Access

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Private Network: As a member of a private network, you agree not to share screenshots or private drafts from other members outside of the Dream Draft Connect platform without their express written consent.

5. Limitation of Liability

Dream Draft Connect provides a platform for connection and coaching. We are not responsible for the commercial success of your writing, nor are we liable for any disputes that may arise between members regarding collaborative projects or feedback.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or disrupt the harmony of the writing community.
